Advance Camp is BACK on Friday, December 4th and Saturday, December 5th!

Advance Camp is back! The third edition of the training and networking conference for Democratic advance professionals returns to Washington, DC, on December 4th & 5th, 2026.

In 2019 and 2022, Advance Camp brought together more than 2,000 attendees from across the country to learn the art of advance — the behind-the-scenes work that brings political events, campaigns, and the moments you see on the news to life.

Our mission is simple: recruit, train, and connect the next generation of Democratic advance professionals.

Advance Camp introduces fresh, diverse talent to the nuts and bolts of campaign advance, connects aspiring advancers with seasoned professionals, and helps build a pipeline of qualified staff for campaigns nationwide. Following our inaugural event, more than 100 Advance Camp attendees went on to work on presidential primary campaigns during the 2019–2020 cycle.

In 2026, we're bringing it back bigger than ever — with new talent to recruit, experienced professionals to learn from, and campaigns gearing up for the next election cycle.

And Advance Camp isn't just for people looking to make advance their full-time career. We welcome Democratic political communicators, organizers, and staff from allied organizations, labor unions, nonprofits, Capitol Hill, and beyond. Whether you're looking for your first campaign job, hoping to sharpen your event production skills, or simply eager to expand your political network, you'll leave Advance Camp with practical knowledge, valuable connections, and a better understanding of how great political events come together.
